Tip for FSBO..... Lighten your Pictures
One of the most common mistakes in real estate is having pictures too dark. I have even seen real estate agents make this mistake but most of the time it is done by a For Sale By Owner (FSBO). A dark picture, besides having less detail, gives a gloomy feel of the home, or even worse gives the impression that the home does not have adequate lighting. Bottom line the picture is dark because the camera needed more flash or there was a bright window that silhoetted the rest of the room. The good news is that all things can be fixed with your computer. There are lots of basic free image editing programs that will make your picture brighter and you can even adjust the color if your camera gave that blue haze that can come up occasionally.
I am not a photographer, but I take lots of pictures and want the pictures look good so I have gotten fairly good at editing.
Pictur5es are worth a thousand words, make sure those are positive words.
