Spring visited this weekend (and so did the buyers)

This weekend was not only beautiful it was a furry of activity.  There was the Spring Fair at the Fairgrounds, lots of yard work to do, and yeas even people looking at property.  Not only did I show property to some buyers that I have been working with, but I also got some activity on my listings.  By activity I not only mean showing but offers.  Yes believe it or not I am working on two offers. 

Could it be that the weather (70+ degree weather) has brought the serious buyer out of the woodwork? or maybe it is the great interest rates that are finally getting the buyers to take action?  or a combination of many things?  I agree with Paul Polzin's statement that "a recession is not caused by just one thing."  I will take that further and say that consumer habits are not caused by just one thing.  The recipe is right for a great summer of both buying and selling real estate. 

The weather forecast says that spring is going away for at least another week, but the Real Estate Forecast is not so gloomy.  I predict more of the same heading into next weekend.
