Bitterroot Building Industry Association Tour of Homes

This weekend is the annual Tour of Homes for the Bitterroot Valley.  I am very excited.  My favorite part is seeing all of the finish work.  The detail and intricacies of the finish work are amazing.  In fact after last years' tour my, then fiancee, and I got a wild hair and redid out bathroom with Venetian Plaster and painted one wall in our living room red.  Both turned out very good but it was a lot to take on at once.  I think I would only do one or the other at a time. 

The tour is also great if you are into interior design.  The staging in these homes is unprescidented.  As a real estate agent I know a little bit about staging and the flow of a home but what these homes have is so far beyond that that I just gasp!

How do you go on the tour?

Look for this year’s map in the Ravalli Republic on Wednesday, August 13. Pre-sold Tour tickets will go on sale Friday, August 1 – still only $10 each - or you can pick up your ticket and Tour magazine at any of the 9 tour homes during tour hours, and at the following locations:

• All Farmers State Bank locations, Missoula to Darby
• Bitterroot Valley Chamber of Commerce, Hamilton
• Pierce Flooring & Design, Missoula
• Stewart Title, Florence
• BBIA Office, Hamilton
• All homes along the Tour

Your Tour of Homes ticket is a multi-use article. Not only is this ticket good for viewing homes all three days of the tour, you can also use your ticket as:

• an entry to win a Grand Prize - a set of tires from Jerry Wessel Tire Center in Hamilton (a $300+ value);
• to vote for your favorite home on the tour - People’s Choice Winner will be announced the week following the tour from these entries;
• to get half-off of a second meal at The Edge Restaurant and Bar in Hamilton;
• and to offer your comments and suggestions regarding this event.

Just complete the required information on your ticket and drop it in a ballot box at the last home your visit to be eligible for the Grand Prize.
